Pretty Creek

Hoping to find a trout stream close to home, I explored this little creek the other day. It looks like trout water: crystal clear, sandy and gravel bottom with lots of cover for the fish.

Alas, it was not to be. It turned out to be a drainage system for a swamp a very short distance upstream. It is much too shallow to support any kind of fish population.

I did, however get some nice photos of a very pretty stream.
