Fourth
of July parades all over the midwest typically begin with veteran
groups such as the American Legion and the VFW. They are followed
by local firefighters, antique tractors and cars, community groups,
beauty queens, local politicians and sometimes local high school
marching bands.
This parade in Sharon, WI had one marching band,
dozens of tractors and a large contingent of hot rods and restored
antique cars.

| If you missed your mid-America hometown parade, this is most likely what
it looked like - with the exception of a little girl with one eye
swollen shut from a mosquito bite.
